What to Expect

What do I wear?

The first thing to decide about your shoot is whether you would prefer it in our refurbished studio or on-location, maybe at your home. Each create a different look and feel to your images.

The shoot itself

Please bring plenty of clothes with you to choose from. The main thing is that you feel comfortable. Jeans and T-shirts look great!

Young children

If your child has a favourite toy or teddy you may like to include this in the pictures. This toy will have a lot of sentimental value in the future – however grubby and chewed it may seem now.

Make-Up

Come with your make-up as you would when you are going out for an evening. Browns and peach toned lip colour look more natural on black and white film as reds and pinks tend to seem very black.

A make-up artist can be arranged to assist during your shoot, in which case your make-up will be applied in the studio.

Viewing your images

After the session we will arrange a convenient time for you to come and view your pictures. We put together a show reel of all the images taken during the shoot, which is projected onto the wall. We then go through all the images with you and discuss your favourites and what you would like to do with them; we have a wide range of products of all styles to choose from.
